Church Beyond the Walls is about building friendships between church communities and people returning home after incarceration.

Our spring Church Beyond the Walls 101 retreat is March 24th & 25th. The class is designed for churches or organizations who seek a deeper understanding of incarceration in the United States, its historic connection to race, and how to begin to build an effective prison ministry within a beloved community to embrace those directly affected by mass incarceration. We encourage groups from various church communities to attend together, so that they can have a shared experience and bring back to their larger community.
